About

Hi,

I’m Lucy — a luxury experience strategist, writer and educator with over two decades of experience across beauty, fashion and luxury retail.

My career has taken me from delivering luxury experiences on the shop floor to designing them for retail teams around the world. Along the way, I have worked across customer experience, brand education, retail learning and business development, with experience connected to names including Dr. Barbara Sturm, NARS, Bobbi Brown, FOREO, Sephora, Selfridges, Clarins, Pat McGrath Labs and Philips.

What has remained consistent throughout my career is a fascination with the part of luxury that cannot be reduced to a product, a logo or a price point: how people are made to feel.

I have spent years translating brand values into practical experiences — helping retail teams understand not only what they are selling, but how to communicate it with confidence, relevance and emotional intelligence. My work has included creating and delivering education, supporting product launches, shaping learning resources and helping teams turn brand knowledge into memorable customer interactions.

That experience now sits at the heart of The White Glove Framework™, my methodology for creating luxury experiences through thoughtful, deliberate details. It brings together customer psychology, retail excellence, service design, storytelling and education to explore why certain experiences stay with us — and how brands can create them intentionally.

Education has become one of the strongest threads running through my work. I have developed learning for retail professionals, supported teams across international markets and delivered guest lectures at Warsaw University and Waltham Forest College. I have also worked as a mentor on the UK Government’s Help to Grow: Management programme, supporting small and medium-sized businesses as they developed their strategy, leadership and growth plans.

I am particularly interested in the point where knowledge becomes behaviour: how learning can build confidence, improve consistency and help people represent a brand in a way that still feels personal rather than scripted.

I am the author of Your Brain, Your Business, Your Rules, which explores how neurodivergent entrepreneurs can build businesses around the way their minds actually work, rather than forcing themselves into systems that do not. I also wrote Your Pocket Branding Bestie, a practical guide to building a stronger and more recognisable brand.

Alongside my books, I write about luxury customer experience, retail culture, brand storytelling and the psychology behind what people remember. My work has been recognised with the Best Branding award at the National Beauty Awards 2025, and I have completed the Inside LVMH Certificate, deepening my understanding of luxury brand management, innovation and customer experience across the sector.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of luxury, learning and human behaviour. Whether I am developing education, analysing a customer journey or writing about the details that shape perception, my aim is the same: to help brands create experiences that feel more thoughtful, more distinctive and more memorable.

Because luxury is rarely defined by one grand gesture.

It lives in the details.
