Too intense. Too inconsistent. Brilliant one day, useless the next. Able to hyperfocus for hours, yet paralysed by a two-line email. I tried every system, planner, productivity hack avaiable and “just try harder” mindset. Spoiler: none of them stuck. Turns out, the issue wasn’t discipline. It was design.
That realisation is the reason I wrote Your Brain, Your Business, Your Rules — a practical, science-based, honest guide for ADHD and neurodivergent people who want to build a career or business without burnout, shame, or forcing themselves into neurotypical systems.
This is not a self-help book about fixing yourself.
It’s a guide to designing work around how your brain actually functions.

What Your Brain, Your Business, Your Rules Is About
At its core, Your Brain, Your Business, Your Rules is about one simple but radical idea: your brain isn’t a bug — it’s the blueprint.
Inside the book, I break down what it really means to work with an ADHD or neurodivergent brain, instead of constantly fighting it. Topics include:
ADHD, autism and neurodivergence explained through real-life work scenarios
Why traditional productivity advice fails neurodivergent people
Executive dysfunction, time blindness and hyperfocus — without judgement or jargon
Rejection sensitivity, client anxiety and emotional burnout at work
Pricing, money guilt and asking for what you’re worth
How to build routines, offers and boundaries that support your nervous system
Creating a sustainable, fulfilling and profitable career — on your own terms
This book blends neuroscience, lived experience, and practical strategy. No hustle culture. No toxic positivity. No “wake up at 5am and manifest harder” nonsense..
Who This Book Is For
Your Brain, Your Business, Your Rules is for you if:
You have ADHD, autism, or identify as neurodivergent (diagnosed or self-identified)
You’re a freelancer, creative, founder or professional struggling with burnout
You’re great at ideas but overwhelmed by admin, planning or consistency
You’ve tried “normal” productivity systems and felt like a failure
You want to build a career that works with your brain — not against it
It’s also valuable reading for managers, team leaders and business owners who want to better understand neurodivergent employees and avoid losing talent to burnout and poorly designed work environments.
A Neurodivergent-Friendly Reading Experience (Down to the Font)
This book doesn’t just talk about neurodivergent brains — it’s designed with them in mind.
Alongside the hand-drawn doodles (yes, I illustrated them myself), the book uses a font designed specifically to be more readable for neurodivergent readers. These types of fonts are created with clearer letterforms, better spacing, and fewer visual ambiguities — which can make reading feel less tiring and more accessible for people with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, or sensory sensitivities.
Is it a magic fix? Of course not.But it does reduce unnecessary friction — and when reading already requires effort, that matters.
This book deals with heavy topics: burnout, mental health, shame, rejection, overload. I wanted it to feel human, accessible and a little bit playful — not like a textbook or a clinical manual. The illustrations are there to give your brain a breather, help concepts land, and remind you that learning doesn’t have to be painful to be powerful.
Think: serious insight, delivered with warmth (and the occasional chaos raccoon).
Why I Wrote This ADHD & Neurodivergent Career Guide
I wrote this book because I wish someone had handed it to me ten years ago.
Before the breakdown. Before the burnout. Before I thought I was lazy, broken, or simply “bad at life.”
This is the book I needed when I was masking, overworking, overdelivering, and quietly falling apart while looking “successful” from the outside. If it helps even one person stop blaming themselves and start designing a life that actually fits — it’s done its job. The message is simple, you don't have disability, you have superpowers and you don’t need to change who you are to succeed.
You need better systems.
If you’ve ever felt like your brain didn’t come with an instruction manual — this might be the one you’ve been waiting for.
